Product description
The Datavideo RMC-180 MARK II is a hardware controller for up to four compatible Datavideo PTZ cameras, block cameras or robotic pan/tilt heads. Each device connects point-to-point over RS-422 through one of the four RJ-45 ports, using a standard network cable.
An ergonomic joystick and clearly arranged buttons provide hands-on control during live production. Store and recall four position presets for each camera, or use up to eight presets when controlling two cameras. The controller uses Sony VISCA and offers slow, medium and fast movement speeds. It controls pan, tilt and zoom, plus iris, focus, gain and OSD on supported models. It also supports tally indicators from compatible Datavideo switchers. Control status appears on a monochrome display, and firmware can be updated via USB.
Datavideo RMC-180 MARK II PTZ Camera Controller
A hardware controller for direct control of up to four compatible Datavideo PTZ cameras, block cameras, or robotic pan-tilt heads. Connection is via a dedicated RS-422 line through four RJ-45 connectors; a standard network cable is used for the connection.
An ergonomic joystick, intuitive button controls, and quick presets simplify the process of repeatedly setting up shots during live production. A monochrome display shows the selected camera and control status.
Quick Shot Presets
Four button presets are available for each connected camera. When controlling two cameras, up to eight presets can be used. With the push of a button, you can quickly recall recurring close-ups or wide shots.
Movement Speed Based on Program Pace
Three speeds are available for pan, tilt, and zoom movements: slow, medium, and fast. On supported models, you can also control aperture, focus, gain, and OSD. The RMC-180 MARK II also supports tally indication from compatible Datavideo production consoles.
