Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Syntex Praha s.r.o. processes personal data of customers, visitors, registered users, newsletter subscribers and people who communicate with us.
Orders and support
We mainly use data to process orders, deliver goods, handle payments, complaints, service and customer communication.
Necessary scope
We process only data needed for purchase, accounting, support, legal protection or services you use.
Cookies
Optional analytics and marketing cookies are used according to your consent settings.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to processing or withdraw consent.
1. Data Controller

2. Data We Process
We process identification and contact details, billing and delivery details, order history, payment information, complaint and service data, customer account data, communication data, technical data such as IP address and cookies, and data needed for newsletters, marketing, analytics and verified reviews.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases

4. Recipients
We may share data with carriers, pickup points, payment gateways, banks, IT and hosting providers, accounting, tax and legal advisers, suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, authorised service centres, verified review services, analytics and marketing providers, and public authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers Outside the EU
Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, transfers are made only under GDPR-compliant safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.
6. Verified Reviews
After a purchase, we may use independent review services. For that purpose, an e-mail address, order number and purchased product information may be provided so that a review questionnaire can be sent. You may object to this processing where applicable.
7. Connecting AI Assistants (MCP)
Our store offers an MCP (Model Context Protocol) interface at https://mcp.syntex.tv. It lets you use your AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to search the catalogue, view your orders and prepare a cart proposal. Using this interface is voluntary and you decide whether to connect it.
Catalogue without signing in. Searching products, prices and availability does not require signing in, and we do not process your personal data for it, apart from technical access logs.
Signing in to your account. If you connect the assistant to your customer account, you sign in on our own login page using OAuth 2.0. You enter your password only with us; neither the AI assistant nor its provider receives it. We issue the assistant an access token with limited permissions: reading your orders and cart proposal, editing the cart proposal and creating a link to complete the purchase on our website.
What data we provide to the assistant. Once connected, the assistant may retrieve at your request an overview and details of your orders in this store (number, date, status, items, prices, shipping and payment method, payment status), the contents of the cart proposal created via MCP, and a link through which you take over the cart proposal on our website. The MCP interface cannot place an order, make a payment or change your account details. You always confirm and pay for an order yourself on the store website.
The AI assistant provider. Data the assistant obtains from us is processed by its provider under the provider's own terms and privacy policy. The assistant provider is not our processor; you establish the connection and decide which requests you give the assistant. We recommend reviewing its terms, especially if it processes data outside the European Economic Area.
Data we store. In connection with the MCP interface we store the assistant's client registration, issued access and refresh tokens, the cart proposal and technical access logs (time, tool called, IP address) for security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is performance of the contract for your customer account and our legitimate interest in operating the service securely.
Retention. Access tokens are valid for 15 minutes, refresh tokens for 30 days or until access is revoked earlier. We keep the cart proposal for 7 days. Detailed technical access logs are kept for 30 days and their hourly summaries for 395 days. Order data is retained in the same way as for orders placed on the website, regardless of MCP use.
Revoking access. You can cancel the connection at any time by disconnecting the connector in your AI assistant or by writing to info@syntex.tv. Upon request we will invalidate the issued tokens without undue delay. After disconnecting in the assistant, the tokens expire on their own within 30 days at the latest.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You may contact us at info@syntex.tv. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, www.uoou.gov.cz.
