AM-100: STUDIO MIXING WITH A+V

The Datavideo AM-100 is a compact 1U rack-mount analogue mixer for live production and studio systems. Four balanced XLR inputs switch between microphone and line level, and each microphone input offers +48 V phantom power. Two AUX channels add another line-level source or let you cascade additional AM-100 units.

CLEAN SIGNAL AND CLEAR LEVEL MONITORING

Four microphone preamps provide a 60 dB gain range and 130 dB dynamic range. The microphone channels include a 100 Hz high-pass (low-cut) filter with an 18 dB/octave slope, while eight-segment stereo LED meters help you monitor the main output. Separate controls set each channel and the master level.

AUDIO THAT FOLLOWS THE PICTURE

A+V synchronizes audio switching with video from a compatible video mixer. Connected through the 15-pin D-Sub tally connector, the AM-100 can switch audio automatically according to the selected video source; the manual specifies use with Datavideo SE-900 and MS-900 systems. The mixer also provides two balanced XLR outputs and headphone monitoring for individual inputs or the master mix.

EXPAND THE MIXING SYSTEM

Use the AUX input for background music or cascade AM-100 mixers. Datavideo specifies expansion to up to 12 channels. Its standard 19-inch width fits a rack with the optional RMK-1 mounting kit.
