Datavideo TP-500 DSLR tablet teleprompter

The Datavideo TP-500 is a tablet teleprompter for DSLR and compact-camera setups. Its 60/40 mirror glass places the scrolling script in front of the camera lens, while the adjustable holder fits tablets 110–210 mm wide in portrait orientation. The camera, tablet and tripod shown in product photographs are not included.

Prepare scripts in the dvPrompter Plus app for Apple iPad and Android tablets. The optional WR-500 remote supports wired and Bluetooth control; remote monitoring and control over a local network require an in-app purchase. The WR-500 is sold separately.

The Datavideo TP-500 places a tablet's scrolling script in front of the camera lens through its 60/40 mirror glass. It is designed for DSLR and compact-camera setups, helping presenters read naturally while the camera records through the clear side of the glass.

The adjustable camera plate and included mounting parts attach the prompter to a tripod. The camera, tablet and tripod shown in the manufacturer photographs are not included.

FIT THE TABLET TO YOUR SETUP

The adjustable holder accommodates tablets from 110 to 210 mm wide when measured in portrait orientation. Apple iPads and Android tablets can run the dvPrompter Plus app, which displays scripts and cue sheets on the tablet.

The hood and adjustable lens snood help keep the reflected script visible to the presenter while limiting stray light around the camera lens. The included 60/40 mirror glass balances script reflection with a clear camera view.

CHOOSE HOW TO CONTROL THE SCRIPT

The dvPrompter Plus app supports direct control with the optional WR-500 wired or Bluetooth remote. A browser on the local network can also monitor and control the prompter; this LAN feature is available after purchase in the dvPrompter Plus app.

The remote can pause and resume scrolling, adjust speed and text size, jump to script markers and switch between items in a playlist. The WR-500 and tablet are sold separately.
