Panasonic has unveiled an upgraded "D" version of the LUMIX G100 mini MFT mirrorless camera for vlogging and reportage. The new model brings, among other things, a 2.4MP OLED viewfinder and a USB-C interface that allows easy charging of the device's battery. Also featured are a large 20.3MP MOS sensor, 5-axis hybrid image stabilization, a large tilting touchscreen, V-Log L mode (12 EV dynamic range), Bluetooth 4.2 / Wi-Fi support, etc. The G100D is offered in kits with a 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 lens (G100DK), with 12-32 mm lens and handle/mini tripod SHGR2 (G100DV) and in the set G100DW with a pair of lenses (12-32 mm and 35-100 mm f/4-5.6). Upcoming firmware 2.0 for LUMIX G9M2 will offer RAW output over HDMI for recording 12-bit Blackmagic RAW data with recorders/monitors Blackmagic Video Assist 5″ 12G HDR a Blackmagic Video Assist 7″ 12G HDR in [5.7K] / [C4K] / [5.8K(4:3)] / [4.4K(4:3)] modes; and to ProRes RAW via Atomos Ninja V, Ninja V+, Ninja, Ninja Ultra, Shogun, Shogun Ultra and Shogun Connect.
