Atomos Ninja (2023)

The Atomos Ninja (2023) is a 5.2-inch HDMI HDR monitor-recorder that combines accurate monitoring, external recording, and an expandable production workflow in a single compact device. The Full HD touchscreen IPS display, with 1,000 nits of brightness and 10-bit processing, supports monitoring of Log, HLG, PQ, and Dolby Vision; using AtomHDR, custom 3D LUTs, and tools such as Focus Peaking, False Color, EL Zone, waveform, zebra stripes, safe areas, and cine guides, it helps you control the image even while shooting. Via HDMI 2.0, it handles monitoring, playback, and recording of DCI/UHD 4Kp60, and with compatible cameras, external ProRes RAW up to 6Kp30. Recordings are saved to the Atomos Master Caddy or SSDmini SSD in Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx, or H.265 codecs. The optional Atomos CONNECT expands the Ninja with 12G-SDI, Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, AirGlu, and cloud or streaming workflows; AtomX CAST turns it into a compact four-input HDMI switcher. For long shoots, you can use an NP-F battery, USB-C PD, or the included Battery Eliminator with DC power.
