Desview R6 UHB Touchscreen Monitor

The R6 UHB 5.5'' 2800 cd/m² Ultra High-Brightness Touchscreen Monitor is a compact 5.5" on-camera touchscreen monitor with a lightweight yet durable polycarbonate and ABS plastic shell. It features an ultrabright 1920 x 1080 display with a 1000:1 contrast ratio suitable for use in exteriors without a sun hood, and a built-in sensor allows you to let the monitor adjust the screen brightness automatically. The monitor supports DCI 4K24 and 4K30 UHD through its HDMI input, scaling the signal for display, and the loop-through HDMI output allows you to send the original unmodified camera signal downstream to other monitors or connect to a wireless transmitter for easier transmission.

Full HD panel with 2800 nits

The Desview R6 UHB touchscreen monitor features an ultra-high brightness of 2800 nits for a clear, non-reflective picture even in strong sunlight. The 1920 × 1080 resolution and a high 1000:1 contrast ratio bring out more detail in shadows and highlights.

Full-screen touch control

No complicated button control: pinch to zoom, adjust the backlight with a gesture, pop up the shortcut menu with a single tap and change settings.

New user menu

The redesigned menu makes touchscreen operation quicker. The most frequently used functions sit in the shortcut menu on the bottom bar, always within reach.

Brightness and volume by swiping

Swipe up and down on the left half of the screen to adjust the backlight brightness, and on the right half to adjust the volume.

4K HDMI in/out and headphone jack

Supporting HDMI signal input and output up to 4K, the R6 UHB connects directly to most cameras and HD/4K camcorders and passes the picture on smoothly. A 3.5 mm headphone jack lets you monitor audio in real time.

Custom 3D LUTs and HDR

The R6 UHB loads custom 3D LUTs from an SD card (with preinstalled log files) for fast colour calibration. The HDR function offers HLG and PQ modes, both providing a wider colour gamut and a higher dynamic range for a more vivid picture.

HDR monitoring in HLG or PQ mode

HDR brings a wider dynamic range and more image detail and helps render colours faithfully. Switch between HLG and PQ to suit the way you shoot.

Professional assisting features

The monitor offers a range of functions for better footage – false colour, zebra, histogram, waveform, vectorscope, All Wave, single colour, focus peaking and safe area – to help with exposure, focusing and composition.

Anamorphic mode, focus peaking and zebra

Anamorphic mode with 1.33x, 1.5x, 1.66x, 1.79x and 2.0x ratios, focus peaking in red, green, blue or white for accurate focusing, and zebra for exposure control.

The R6 UHB lets you import custom 3D LUTs via an SD card slot and supports SDR and HDR viewing, including HLG and PQ. Built-in signal tools include histogram, false colour, focus peaking, zebra and more. Display functions are easily accessed on the touchscreen and include image freeze, L/R flip, aspect ratio adjustment and anamorphic mode selection. The monitor features a headphone jack, and a built-in fan draws air in from the sides and back and expels it through the top. Two 1/4"-20 mounting threads on the bottom and right side allow horizontal and vertical mounting. A shoe mount adapter is included for attaching the monitor to your camera's shoe or to a cage. The monitor has a combination battery plate for NP-F (L-series) and LP-E6 batteries, a 7–24 V DC power input and an 8 V DC power output.
