One teleprompter for phone and camera

The P8 displays text from a phone or a tablet up to 11 inches, and you can film through it with a phone, mirrorless camera, DSLR, action camera, compact camcorder or webcam. The teleprompter app runs on iOS and Android, and the text is controlled with the Bluetooth remote controller.

Lightweight and foldable

The script runs directly in front of the lens, so you look into the camera while reading. The teleprompter folds down compactly and suits live broadcasts, interviews and DSLR recording.

Compared with the T3 and T12S

The P8 has the same size beam splitter glass as the T3 (186 × 144.5 mm), but it also works with mirrorless cameras, action cameras and webcams, and its engineering ABS construction is complemented by aluminium alloy. The larger T12S is designed for tablets up to 13 inches.

Z-shaped bracket

The camera sits on an adjustable Z-shaped bracket. Move it forwards and backwards or up and down until the lens is exactly behind the beam splitter glass.

Vertical and horizontal

Rotate the cellphone holder to switch between vertical and horizontal shooting in seconds. The cellphone holder adjusts by hand to fit various phone models.

Text from a phone or tablet

The telescopic clamp with a hidden two-section extension holds a phone or a tablet up to 11 inches, so the text runs on whichever device you have to hand.

Two cold shoe mounts

Two cold shoe mounts on top take a microphone and an LED light. The teleprompter can be set up on a desktop tripod or a C-Stand.

Light shielding for phone shooting

When filming with a phone, the lens is shielded by the light shading board and one of three cellphone lens rings with different openings – pick the one that matches your phone's lens.

Light shielding for camera shooting

With a camera, the lens is covered by the light shading hood with a drawstring. This works with a webcam, action camera, mirrorless camera, DSLR or compact camcorder.

70/30 beam splitter glass

The beam splitter glass transmits 70% of light and reflects 30%. It has 26 coating layers and 7H hardness, so the text is clear and free of ghosting.

Dimensions and parameters

The teleprompter measures 200 × 202.6 × 104.6 mm and weighs 920 g. The beam splitter glass is 186 × 144.5 mm.

Bluetooth remote controller

Use the remote controller to start and pause the text in the app and change the font size and other settings without leaving the camera. The text runs on a phone or on a tablet up to 11 inches.
