One connector, no cables

The viewfinder fits onto the connector on top of the camera and is secured with an integrated locking screw; video, power and camera information all run through this single connection.

Setup in the camera

The viewfinder image is configured on the Monitor page of the camera menu.

1280 × 960 OLED display

The Micro OLED color display with 1280 × 960 resolution (3.68 million dots), 24-bit RGB color precision (16.7 million colors) and up to 60 fps shows a sharp image for accurate focus, even in bright sunlight when nothing can be seen on the camera screen.

4 element glass diopter

The four element glass optics allow a wide −4 to +4 diopter adjustment. A built in digital focus chart helps you set the diopter accurately.

Proximity sensor and status information

The proximity sensor turns the viewfinder on when you bring your eye to it and off when you move away. Camera settings, record status and meters are shown in the top and bottom areas, and frame guides are available too.

Tilting eyepiece and screw fixing

The eyepiece tilts up to 70°, so you can also shoot from low positions. The viewfinder connects via the camera EVF connector and is held by an integrated M4 × 3.3 (0.7 pitch) locking screw.

Four interchangeable eyecups

Four interchangeable silicone eyecups are included: small, medium, left eye and right eye.

Dimensions and weight

The viewfinder measures 65.2 × 48.61 × 40.5 mm and weighs 80 g.
