Desview T5

The Desview T5 is an innovative dual-screen portable teleprompter designed for natural eye contact and confident delivery during live streaming, vlogging, online courses, and interviews. Featuring broadcast-grade beam splitter glass, a Bluetooth remote controller, and wide device compatibility, it enables smooth, professional presentations with ease.

Script and stream preview on one stand

The script is projected onto the beam splitter glass right in front of the lens, while the self-check phone below the teleprompter shows the picture or viewer comments. During a live stream you never have to glance away to another monitor.

Look into the lens, not at your notes

The text sits on the lens axis, so viewers see you looking straight at them. Ideal for vlogs, online courses and live sales, where a natural delivery without eyes drifting to a script works best.

Phone in portrait or landscape

The phone clamp for filming rotates, so the T5 handles vertical video for social media as well as classic landscape video.

Quick to set up and fold

The phone clamp snaps onto the teleprompter in one move and the support plate for the script device is ready to use as soon as it is unfolded. After the shoot the T5 folds away just as quickly.

Phones and tablets up to 11 inches

The extendable clamp with a 19 cm range holds a phone or a tablet up to 11 inches as the script device. On a larger screen you can enlarge the font and read from further away.

70/30 beam splitter glass

The glass passes 70% of the light to the lens and reflects 30%, so the text is easy to read while the camera image stays visibly unaffected. The text can be read from up to 4 m.

App and remote controller

The script plays in the Desview app for iOS and Android. With the Bluetooth remote controller you start or pause scrolling and change the speed and font size without touching the phone behind the glass.

Two hot-shoe mounts and a self-check phone

Mount an LED light and a microphone on the top hot-shoe mounts to keep light, sound and script on one stand. The self-check phone mounted below shows what the shot looks like.

Where the T5 fits

Online course recording, live-stream sales, vlogging and interviews – anywhere you talk to the camera and need the text in front of your eyes.

Dimensions

The teleprompter measures 20.3 × 20.3 × 10.9 cm and weighs 520 g. The beam splitter glass measures 19.7 cm (top edge) / 18 cm (bottom edge) × 14.5 cm.

Camera, hood and mounting

With a camera, the T5 is used with the 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77 and 82 mm adapter rings: screw the ring matching your lens diameter onto the lens and slide the teleprompter onto it. The T5 also supports wide-angle lenses without dark corners in the frame.

The light shading hood for the mobile phone reduces reflections on the glass. The 1/4" thread on the bottom lets you place the teleprompter on a desktop tripod, camera tripod or light stand.
