RGBlink aura UHD studio 32 (Gen 2)

The RGBlink Aura UHD Studio 32 Gen 2 is a 32” broadcast-grade 4K HDR monitor designed for professional post-production, live production, and broadcast workflows. It features quad 12G-SDI monitoring, Thunderbolt™ app preview, high-precision 3D LUT support, 1000-nit high-brightness panel, HDR waveform, and ARRI/Red false color with independent color modes per window.

The aura UHD studio 32 is a 32-inch 4K HDR monitor for broadcast, film and post-production. Its 3840 × 2160 QLED panel with 1000 cd/m² shows four 12G-SDI signals at once, Thunderbolt 3 brings in the DaVinci Resolve output and the 12G-SFP fiber port carries the picture over long distances.

A monitor for film and television production

Four 12G-SDI inputs accept up to 8K (quad link) and are backward compatible down to 4K60, joined by two HDMI inputs and USB-C with Thunderbolt 3. The monitor works with 3D LUTs using tetrahedral interpolation, SMPTE ST 2084 (PQ) and HLG HDR curves as well as camera Log curves, and it recognises the HDR transfer type on SDI and HDMI by itself.

Accurate colour with 3D LUTs

A high-precision 3D LUT with tetrahedral interpolation and the built-in Rainbow colour management engine keep colours accurate. Your own LUTs and gamma curves can be uploaded to the monitor, so the intended film look can be shown on set.

Wide colour gamut

The monitor covers 100 % of Rec.709 and 98 % of DCI-P3 and switches between ITU-R BT.2020, ITU-R BT.709, EBU, SMPTE-C and the native panel gamut – for broadcast and film alike.

Four cameras on one monitor

Quad view, quad view with three windows, PBP and PAP modes. Unlike the first generation, four 12G-SDI signals can be watched in four windows at the same time, each window has its own colour mode and audio bars, and SDR and HDR pictures can be compared side by side (HLG 1.0–1.5, ST 2084 PQ, S-Log3).

Inputs, outputs and fiber

Four 12G-SDI inputs with four loop-through outputs, two HDMI inputs, USB-C and a 12G-SFP port for single-mode fiber. The input signal can be up to 8K, and a single fiber cable carries 4K video together with audio.

Edit preview over Thunderbolt 3

The Thunderbolt 3 compatible USB-C port is used to preview the output of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro – it does not mirror or extend the computer desktop. The monitor reads the Payload ID from the 12G-SDI signal automatically.

Tally, UMD and film looks

Three-colour tally, a dynamic UMD label over TSL 3.1/4.0/5.0 via RS-422, and 3D LUTs that show the film look on the monitor while you shoot.

Audio, mounting and scopes

The monitor de-embeds 16 audio channels from SDI and shows up to 8 of them on meters, and it has a built-in speaker and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. VESA mounting points are on the back. Tools include waveform with HDR, vectorscope, histogram, false colour with ARRI and RED profiles, peaking, zebra, time code, image flip, freeze and zoom.
