RGBLink mini-ISO

The RGBLink mini-ISO is a portable and versatile video switcher that combines quad SDI and HDMI inputs, real-time preview, PTZ camera control, and multi-platform streaming support for professional video production. It records the program to a USB drive, streams to up to four platforms and appears on a computer as a webcam.

The mini-ISO fits in the palm of your hand, yet handles four SDI cameras, four HDMI sources and network NDI. It suits smaller broadcasts, lectures, church services and concerts where one person switches the picture, mixes the audio and streams at the same time.

Ten inputs in a palm-sized switcher

The mini-ISO measures just 197 × 113 × 60 mm and weighs 0.6 kg, yet it accepts four HDMI 2.0 sources up to 4K60, four SDI cameras, a USB camera (UVC) and an NDI source from the network, switching five channels live. It is powered over USB-C PD (12 V / 2.5 A), so it fits in a backpack or on a small table next to the camera.

Four channels of HDMI or SDI

Each of the four input channels takes either HDMI 2.0 (up to 4096 × 2160p60, HDCP 1.4) or SDI (up to 1080p60); the fifth channel belongs to a USB camera via UVC (1080p60) or an NDI | HX2 source from the network. Two HDMI 1.3 outputs feed monitors with the multiview, the program or a test pattern, and the program can also be sent to the network as NDI.

Connectors on the side

Next to the network port for streaming and control, the mini-ISO has USB-A for recording to a flash drive, USB-A with the webcam output to a computer, the HDMI program output and 3.5 mm audio jacks – an input and a headphone output.

Touchscreen, T-bar and 15 transitions

The 3.5″ touchscreen shows the menu, signal preview and broadcast status. Preview and program sources are selected with buttons 1–5, and you switch with a cut (CUT), automatically (AUTO) or with the T-bar using one of 15 transition effects. The multiview on the monitor shows all channels with audio, the recording status and the saved scenes.

Chroma key without a computer

Pick the key colour – green or blue – right on the switcher display, without an app, and place a presenter in front of a virtual background or graphics. Luma key and picture-in-picture are also available.

Eight saved scenes

A finished setup – picture-in-picture, keying, selected sources and saved PTZ camera positions – is stored in one of eight scenes (VIEWS 1–8) and recalled later with a single tap. Handy for recurring shows, lectures or changing speakers.

PTZ camera control

The five-way joystick and zoom toggle control up to five networked PTZ cameras via the IP VISCA protocol – pan, tilt, zoom and focus. Camera positions are saved as presets and recalled with a single press.

Streaming, recording and webcam

Over Ethernet the mini-ISO streams via RTMP(S) to up to four platforms at once, and it can also be controlled through RGBlink TAO Cloud from a phone or computer. One button records the program to a USB drive as MP4 (up to 16 Mb/s, FAT32 or exFAT); separate recording of individual inputs (ISO) is not supported. The USB output appears on a computer as a webcam (YUY2/MJPEG).

Concerts, sports and conferences

Four SDI inputs connect professional cameras over longer distances, and the audio embedded in the HDMI and SDI inputs is mixed with two external channels. The compact switcher handles a band in a club, a tournament or a corporate conference.
