The Datavideo TLM-170KM is a pull-out 17.3-inch 4K UHD production monitor with a 3840 × 2160 IPS panel. Its 1U pull-out chassis brings a clear monitoring surface to a control room, OB van or studio rack. Inputs include 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, each with a loop-through output; the monitor supports DCI 4K and UHD up to 60p. The panel offers a 178° viewing angle, 300 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast.

Built-in tools include waveform, vector scope, audio vector, focus peaking, false color, histogram, exposure, timecode, HDR/SDR, camera log, zoom and screen markers. It supports HLG and SMPTE ST 2084 HDR as well as Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 color spaces. The integrated tally light indicates Live in red and Cue in green.

4K UHD monitoring in a pull-out 1U chassis

The pull-out Datavideo TLM-170KM brings 4K picture monitoring into a 1U rack. Its 3840 × 2160 IPS panel, 12G-SDI/HDMI 2.0 loop-through and built-in picture-analysis tools let crews check production signals without a separate desktop monitor.

4K UHD picture detail

The 3840 × 2160 IPS panel displays detailed UHD and DCI 4K images up to 60p. A 178° viewing angle helps the crew check the picture from different positions in the control room. Brightness is 300 cd/m² with 1000:1 contrast; HDR support includes HLG and SMPTE ST 2084.

Inputs and loop-through outputs

One 12G-SDI input and two HDMI 2.0 inputs are complemented by 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 loop-through outputs. The incoming signal can be monitored and passed on to another device in the chain. Supported input formats include DCI 4K 4096 × 2160p and UHD 3840 × 2160p up to 60p.

Tools for production monitoring

Waveform, vector scope, audio vector, focus peaking, false color, histogram, exposure and timecode give production teams tools for checking picture and audio. Additional functions include HDR/SDR, camera log, zoom, image flip, markers and more. The tally light distinguishes Live (red) and Cue (green).
