Datavideo TLM-170KR 17.3″ 4K/UHD Rack-Mount Production Monitor

The Datavideo TLM-170KR is a 17.3-inch 4K/UHD production LCD monitor in a 7U rack-mount chassis, designed for broadcast control rooms, mobile studios and other multi-monitor production environments. Its 3840 × 2160 IPS panel combines 300 cd/m² brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and ±89° horizontal and vertical viewing angles for detailed image monitoring across the room.

Connect a source through one 12G-SDI or either of the two HDMI 2.0 inputs. Dedicated SDI and HDMI loop-through outputs pass the corresponding signal to downstream equipment. The monitor accepts DCI 4K and UHD signals up to 60p and offers 16:9 and 4:3 display modes with aspect and safety markers.

Production tools include waveform, vectorscope, audio vector, focus peaking, false color, exposure zebras, histogram, zoom, pixel-to-pixel, H/V delay, freeze, image flip, check field, level meter and color bars. HDR support includes HLG and SMPTE ST 2084, with Rec.709 and DCI-P3 color-space presets, timecode display, camera log, gamma adjustment and color calibration. A red/green tally indicates live/cued status. Embedded audio can be monitored through the analog stereo output or the two built-in 3 W speakers.

The Datavideo TLM-170KR is a 17.3-inch production LCD monitor built into a 7U rack-mount chassis. Its 3840 × 2160 IPS panel, 300 cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and wide viewing angles make detailed 4K monitoring practical in a broadcast control room, mobile studio or production suite.

Feed the display over 12G-SDI or HDMI 2.0, then pass the corresponding signal onward through a dedicated loop-through output.

4K INPUTS WITH LOOP-THROUGH OUTPUTS

Connect one 12G-SDI source or either of the two HDMI 2.0 inputs. Matching SDI and HDMI outputs pass the signal to the next display or device. The inputs support DCI 4K and UHD up to 60p. Choose 16:9 or 4:3 display modes and add aspect or safety markers when framing a shot.

The built-in tally light indicates LIVE in red and CUED in green through a separate tally input.

TOOLS FOR IMAGE AND AUDIO REVIEW

Waveform, vectorscope, focus peaking, false color, exposure zebras and histogram help evaluate exposure, focus and color. Other tools include audio vector, level meter, zoom, pixel-to-pixel, H/V delay, freeze, image flip, check field and color bars.
