Product description
The Datavideo SE-4000 is a professional 4K production switcher for live broadcasts, studio broadcasting, and event production. You can select eight active channels from 12 physical video inputs; 8× 12G-SDI and 4× HDMI 2.0 are available. The input scaler helps standardize sources with different resolutions, and the 5-inch touchscreen on the control panel provides access to settings and direct control of the switcher.
The SE-4000 processes UHD 4K up to 50/60p; at 4K 29.97/30p, up to 12 channels can be utilized. It offers four upstream keyers, two PIP windows, two DSKs, two independent animated logos, stinger transitions, and 2D DVE. It also features a built-in audio mixer, audio delay, multiview, and assignable outputs for program, preview, or AUX. The rugged 2U design can be installed in a standard 19″ rack.
4K LIVE PRODUCTION CONTROL ROOM
Choose from 12 physical inputs and build an eight-channel production with UHD 4K up to 60p. The SE-4000 combines 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, touchscreen control, and video and audio tools in a 2U rack-mount system.
INPUTS AND SCALING
Eight 12G-SDI inputs and four HDMI inputs cover a variety of sources in a single setup. At UHD 4K 50/60p, eight channels are processed; UHD 4K 29.97/30p mode allows you to utilize all 12 input channels. The integrated input scaler converts source resolutions according to production needs.
CONTROL AND VISUAL EFFECTS
A 5-inch color touchscreen is complemented by direct buttons and input/output assignments (XPT). Four upstream keyers support chroma, luma, and linear keying; two PIP windows, two DSKs, two logos, stinger transitions, and 2D DVE expand the possibilities for live graphics and transitions.
OUTPUTS, AUDIO, AND INTEGRATION
Four 12G-SDI and three HDMI outputs can be assigned for program, preview, multiview, clean program, or AUX. The built-in mixer processes both analog and embedded audio and allows for channel delay adjustment. The DVIP Ethernet interface is used for communication and integration with compatible devices.
