Four-channel recording in a rack

The Datavideo HDR-90 is a 1RU recorder for OB vans and integrated studios. It records ProRes 422 video at resolutions up to 2160p60. Its 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs also support simultaneous recording of up to four HD sources as separate files.

Two removable 2.5-inch SSDs make it easy to expand capacity and swap media. The front 5-inch touch LCD provides monitoring, configuration and recording controls.

Two drives for longer recording

The HDR-90 records to two 2.5-inch SSDs. When the first drive fills, recording continues on the second; capacity can be expanded by swapping a drive. QuickTime MOV files use exFAT and are ready for the next editing stage in post-production.

Available codecs include ProRes 422 HQ, 422, LT and Proxy. The recorder supports uncompressed 48 kHz/24-bit PCM audio, timecode and external synchronization.

Four HD sources and picture monitoring tools

Alongside single-source 4K recording, the HDR-90 can record up to four 1080p HD channels simultaneously to separate files with shared timecode. The touchscreen provides monitoring tools including waveform, vectorscope, histogram, RGB parade, zebra and focus peaking.

SDI and HDMI outputs carry embedded audio. Timecode, Black Burst/Tri-level Genlock, DVIP over Ethernet, RS-232/422 and GPI support integration into a production control room.
