Product description

The Datavideo RMC-300A is a universal control panel for multi-camera PTZ and block-camera setups. It controls up to 24 compatible Datavideo cameras over DVIP or up to 8 cameras over serial RS-422. Supported protocols include Sony VISCA, VISCA over IP-S, VISCA over IP-C and Datavideo DVIP, with 14 stored position presets for each camera.

The built-in 5-inch, 1280 × 720 touchscreen displays a live preview and camera settings. Operators can control pan and tilt with the two-axis joystick, adjust zoom with the dedicated knob, and use the hardware buttons for direct access. Eight RS-422 ports, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and two USB 2.0 ports connect the panel to cameras and other production equipment.

One control surface for multi-camera production

The RMC-300A centralizes control of compatible Datavideo PTZ and block cameras. A setup can include up to 24 cameras over DVIP or up to 8 over RS-422, with 14 position presets stored for each camera. The touchscreen, joystick and dedicated zoom knob give operators direct control from the production desk.

Touchscreen with live preview

The integrated 5-inch, 1280 × 720 display provides access to camera settings and a live image preview on the controller itself. A two-axis joystick moves the camera, a separate rotary knob adjusts zoom, and hardware buttons provide direct access to functions.

Network and serial connections

The panel provides one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port with an RJ-45 connector, eight RS-422 ports with RJ-45 connectors, and two USB 2.0 ports. USB 2.0 is also used for firmware updates. Control protocols include Datavideo DVIP, Sony VISCA and VISCA over IP-S/IP-C, depending on the connected setup.
