KOMODO-X/V-RAPTOR [X] Z TO PL ADAPTER PACK

TheRED Z to PL Adapter Pack provides a robust PL mount solution for the KOMODO-X Z Mount and V-RAPTOR [X] Z Mount. The Z to PL Adapter supports Cooke /i lens communication and recording triggering, extending the functionality of a conventional Z mount for professional filmmaking use. The Z to PL Adapter, with its titanium core construction, is resistant to changes in ambient temperature, ensuring consistent and accurate back focus adjustment.

The V-RAPTOR Z to PL Adapter Pack includes V-RAPTOR PL Support Brackets to provide additional rigidity. KOMODO Z to PL Adapter Pack includes KOMODO Side Ribs in addition to PL Support Brackets .

KOMODO-X/V-RAPTOR [X] Z TO PL ADAPTER PACK WITH ELECTRONIC ND FILTER

TheRED Z to PL Adapter Pack with Electronic ND Filter integrates the same precision electronic ND control used in the V-RAPTOR XL into a robust PL mount solution for the RED KOMODO-X/V-RAPTOR [X] Z Mount. Compared to the classic version of the Z to PL adapter, this pack has two extra filters: a clear filter for when an ND filter is not needed, and an electronic ND filter with a range of 2-7 feet. It offers precise control in 1/4, 1/3, or full foot increments, allowing you to choose the exact exposure you want without compromise.

The thickness of each clear and electronic ND filter is metered and paired to avoid back focus shift when switching between filters. The ND can be controlled using the integrated buttons on the electronic ND filter, the integrated top LCD (KOMODO-X)/side LCD (V-RAPTOR [X]), the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" LCD, RED Control, RED Control Pro, the web interface, or any other RCP2 compatible remote control. This allows easy access to exposure regardless of camera configuration.

As with the classic Z to PL Adapter pack, theV-RAPTOR variant includes V-RAPTOR Adapter Support Brackets to provide additional rigidity. The KOMODO Z variant includes KOMODO Side Ribs in addition to the PL Adapter Support Brackets .

Zoom function

• A new form/category of macro shooting - a zoom probe (18 - 28mm FF) covering commonly used focal lengths in advertising/TVC, with a field of view of 100° - 73° to improve shooting flexibility, suppress flare and vignetting outside the image and ensure image consistency.

Lightweight and comfortable

• The weight is only 1000g, the front diameter of the lens is <30mm, and the clearance when shooting in a narrow space is good to avoid blocking the light.
• The body volume is controlled at approximately 400 mm in length, while the rear center of gravity design reduces shake when shooting and adapts to various forms of installation.
