Atomos news from the NAB show

At the NAB tradeshow, held this year from April 4 to 9, Atomos introduced several new products:

Atomos TX-RX 4K/HD

The Atomos TX-RX set is a powerful wireless 4K/HD video transmission and reception system designed to simplify video monitoring and production workflows - whether on set, in the field or in the studio. This system is designed for creative professionals who need mobility, flexibility and ease of use without compromise. The TX-RX provides extremely low latency transmission of HD-SDI and 4K HDMI video for long-distance wireless tracking on set, enabling seamless image transfer from camera to monitor, between monitors and other devices.

• Range up to 300 meters
• Supports up to 4 receivers per transmitter

In addition to the kit, you can also choose between the Atomos TX 4K/HD transmitter itself and the Atomos RX 4K/HD receiver. Availability is expected for June 2025.

A-Eye PTZ cameras

A-Eye is a powerful new range of AI-enhanced PTZ cameras that combine intelligent surveillance, high-quality video and seamless connectivity. The A-Eye series is designed for educators, content creators, business professionals, clergy and live event teams. It enables easy, scalable and professional multi-camera production - without the need for a videographer. With real-time AI-powered tracking and advanced PTZ motion (±170° pan and tilt from -30° to +90°), A-Eye cameras track your subject with smooth, precise movement - perfectly capturing every step, whether you're streaming a live concert, teaching a class, or presenting to a global audience.

Choose from three camera options: HD with 20x optical zoom, 4K with 12x optical zoom and 4K with 20x optical zoom. A dedicated Atomos A-Eye Control remote control will be available for the A-Eye Series PTZ cameras, enabling advanced multi-camera operation, preset mode switching and remote production over IP. Availability is expected for June 2025.

It allows you to manage cloud storage, share media and collaborate easily and efficiently - in a fast, flexible environment designed for creators.

• Keep track of all your Atomos gear, activate warranties and manage your account all in one place
• Secure and scalable cloud storage for easy file upload, organization and distribution
• Direct camera-to-cloud recording: Record directly from connected Ninja and Shogun devices to ATOMOSphere or other services like Frame.io, Dropbox and more
• Distribution to social platforms: quickly export content to YouTube, Vimeo and other platforms - easily and efficiently
