Atomos TX 4K/HD

Atomos TX 4K/HD is a standalone wireless video transmitter for tripod-mounted cameras, handheld rigs and gimbals. It sends up to 4Kp30 via HDMI or 1080p60 via SDI over a 5GHz link to a compatible Atomos RX receiver or Shinobi 7 RX monitor; it supports up to four receivers and monitoring on iOS/Android phones. Crews can change angles and reposition the camera without disconnecting director or client monitors. This product is the transmitter only; a receiver is not included.

On a tripod camera, handheld rig or gimbal, TX keeps director and client monitoring connected as the shot changes. The 5GHz link supports up to four receivers and viewing on compatible iOS/Android phones.

VIDEO AND POWER CONNECTIONS

The transmitter accepts HDMI video up to 4Kp30 or 3G-SDI video up to 1080p60. A full-size HDMI loop-through keeps a local wired feed available. The manufacturer specifies 60 ms wireless latency and nine 5GHz channels.

Power it with a separately purchased NP-F550/750/970 battery, USB-C or a 9–16 V DC supply. A 1/4″-20 mounting point helps integrate the 231 g aluminium unit with a camera rig.
