Camera control and precise image analysis

USB-C handles supported camera control, USB-C PD power or direct calibration with a compatible probe. The SD slot loads LUTs and firmware; it does not record video.

The large daylight-viewable display suits a director's monitor, focus-pulling station or a switcher's program and preview display. It supports HDR and Log signals, including HLG and PQ.

Dual Sony NP-F slots support extended operation and hot swapping. An optional Battery Eliminator can provide DC power, and a headphone output is also available. The rear view makes the I/O and power layout clear.

Shinobi 7 RX is a professional 7-inch monitor for filmmakers, producers and focus pullers who need accurate on-set monitoring and control. Its 1920 × 1200 touchscreen reaches 2200 nits for daylight viewing.

With supported Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic and Sony cameras, USB-C control adjusts white balance, aperture, shutter speed or angle, and ISO. Z CAM E2 models require the optional USB-C-to-serial cable. A red screen border indicates camera recording regardless of how recording was started.

Touch to Focus moves the focus point with a tap and can use subject tracking on compatible cameras. Camera control and Touch to Focus availability depend on the exact camera model.

AtomOS 11 tools include focus peaking, 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1 zoom, zebra, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, histogram, EL Zone, ARRI false color, grids, safe areas, cine and social frame guides, and anamorphic de-squeeze. Analysis mode groups multiple scopes on one screen. Custom 3D LUTs (.cube, 17 or 33 points) support Log, HLG and PQ preview.
