Tilta Khronos Universal Smartphone Case Creator Kit - Space Gray

The Tilta Khronos Universal Smartphone Case Creator Kit is a phone cage with a 70–90 mm clamping range, rounded out with filtration and two handles. The magnetic 58 mm filter tray holder aligns across three axes and the included variable ND filter covers 1–5 stops. The NATO/Arca-Swiss adapter puts the rig on a tripod or gimbal in a second.

The Creator Kit builds on the universal Khronos cage and adds what a filmmaker needs on day one: exposure control and a proper grip. Thanks to the 70–90 mm clamping range the cage fits most mainstream phones, so when you change devices the rig stays the same.

Universal 70–90 mm clamping

The cage clamps phones 70 to 90 mm wide (2.75–3.5″), which covers most models from the major brands. The clamping adjusts across several axes, so the cage aligns to the height and protrusion of each phone's camera module. Wave-shaped grooves on both sides of the frame give a solid grip even without a handle, and when you change phones the whole rig stays the same.

Filtration aligned on three axes

The magnetic 58 mm filter tray holder adjusts on the cage across three axes: 0–15 mm side to side for centering, 0–42 mm up and down and 2–10 mm front to back for lens protrusion. Once aligned, the included 58 mm variable ND filter (1–5 stops) snaps into it magnetically and comes off just as fast when you want to shoot without a filter.

Handles and Arca-Swiss adapter

Two adjustable NATO handles slide straight into the NATO rail and lock with one press; holding the button lets them rotate 360°, so they hold comfortably in landscape and portrait and tilt for low- or high-angle shots. The NATO/Arca-Swiss adapter goes on the rail and the rig moves straight onto a tripod or gimbal. The cooling system and USB-C hub are not in this kit — they are sold separately or included in the Ultimate Kit.
