The Tilta Khronos 62 mm Threaded Filter Tray opens the whole world of standard screw-on filters to the Khronos Universal Smartphone Case cage. It attaches to the magnetic 58 mm filter tray holder and inherits its three-axis adjustment, so the filter sits exactly over the lens whichever phone is clamped in the cage.
The tray is a simple part with a clear job: to get any 62 mm threaded filter onto your phone. It seats into the magnetic 58 mm filter tray holder and inherits its full three-axis alignment range.
The tray seats into the magnetic 58 mm filter tray holder for the Khronos Universal Smartphone Case and inherits its three-axis adjustment: 0–15 mm side to side for centering, 0–42 mm up and down and 2–10 mm front to back for lens protrusion. The filter thus sits exactly over the lens whichever phone is clamped in the cage. Neither the holder nor a filter is included.
It accepts any screw-on filter with a 62 mm thread as well as standard step-up rings — the polarizing, ND, diffusion or effect filters you already own for your camera go onto the phone with no further adapter. The lightweight aluminum alloy construction adds only minimal weight to the rig; the filter simply screws on and you shoot.
Khronos is a modular system for shooting with a phone: a case or cage with mounting points that take magnetic filters, cooling, handles, lights, a USB-C hub and brackets via quick release. The parts combine and carry over between phone generations — this one is among them.
