Tilta Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub - Space Gray

The Tilta Khronos quick release USB-C hub in Space Gray clips onto the bottom of the Khronos case and turns the phone into a camera with ports: two USB-C for an external SSD and power, an HDMI output to a monitor or wireless transmitter, and a 3.5 mm jack for monitoring audio. Underneath is an integrated Arca-Swiss plate, so the whole rig goes straight onto a tripod or into a gimbal.

The Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub is a media hub for Khronos rigs. It connects to the phone with a single USB-C cable and adds what is missing for filming: recording to an external drive, a picture for the director and audio monitoring — plus power for the whole rig from one source.

On the bottom of the case, tripod underneath

The hub mounts to the bottom mounting point of the Khronos case with the locking clamp: press, seat, release. Underneath it carries an integrated Arca-Swiss plate, so the rig slides into a tripod head or gimbal without another adapter and comes out just as quickly. The hub thus keeps phone and ports together — cables to the drive and monitor run from the bottom edge and stay clear of handles and filter. Phone and hub are linked by the 18 cm right-angle USB-C cable, sold separately as an accessory.

Two USB-C, HDMI and a 3.5 mm jack

Both USB-C ports work at the same time — one carries data to an external SSD, a must for recording in Apple Log or another log profile, the other supplies power. A dedicated PD 100 W power input on the side distributes power onward into the rig. The HDMI output sends the picture to an external monitor or a wireless transmitter for the director, the 3.5 mm jack is for monitoring audio in real time. Connecting an external audio source requires a 3.5 mm TRS to TRRS cable; it is not included.
