Tilta Khronos USB-C Hub for Universal Smartphone Case - Space Gray

The Tilta Khronos USB-C Hub for the Universal Smartphone Case brings monitoring, power and external recording to the cage with your phone. It offers an HDMI output for a monitor or wireless transmitter, a second USB-C port for an SSD and ProRes RAW recording, and transfer up to 10 Gbps. The PD input takes 100 W and returns up to 36 W to the phone.

The hub mounts directly on the Khronos Universal Smartphone Case cage and connects to the phone with a short USB-C cable. In one small box it combines the three things that otherwise leave adapters hanging off the rig: fast data transfer, power and video output.

Straight on the cage

The hub sits on the Khronos Universal Smartphone Case cage as if it were part of it — it adds no bulk, doesn't dangle from a cable, and only the short USB-C cable from the box runs to the phone. It fixes in place with the included 2.5 mm Allen key. The rig stays compact and tidy whether you shoot handheld or from a tripod in the studio.

Data, recording and monitor

The second USB-C port takes an external SSD and the phone records ProRes RAW to it with no further adapter; transfer runs at up to 10 Gbps, so exporting finished footage is quick too. The HDMI output sends the image to an external monitor or wireless transmitter, and you see the shot in real time exactly as the crew sees it.

Power for the whole rig

The PD input takes up to 100 W, so from a power bank or mains adapter you keep the phone and accessories powered all shooting day. Up to 36 W goes to the phone — enough for the battery to hold up even during demanding recording to an external drive. Power, data and video all run through one hub, and no extra adapter is left hanging off the rig.
