The Tilta Khronos Cooling System for the Universal Smartphone Case keeps the phone at working temperature even during long recording. It clicks onto the cage in one move and runs in three modes from 18 to 27 W; in the strongest it cools the contacted surface in as little as 40 seconds and so prevents thermal throttling.

Shooting 4K or streaming for a long time heats the phone up and it throttles itself — the image starts to stutter or the recording stops. The Khronos cooling system prevents that actively: a high-performance fan with smart temperature control runs continuously and carries heat away from the phone body.
