Nine parts, one locking clamp. There is no picking parts one by one and working out what fits what: everything in the box attaches to the Khronos case for the iPhone 18 Pro with the same clamp and is ready to shoot straight out of the box. Colour Black.

Pro and Pro Max are not interchangeable

This kit is built around the case for the iPhone 18 Pro. That case does not fit the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and kits for the other phone model carry their own part numbers, so check the exact model before you order.

What is in the kit

The rig is built around the all-aluminium Khronos case, which snaps onto the phone and carries every other part. Accessories attach with the locking clamp: press the button, seat it on the pins, release. No tools, and no taking the rest of the rig apart.

Focus PD handle with a 5,000 mAh battery

The Focus PD handle has a built-in 5,000 mAh battery, charged over USB-C, and powers the phone and the attached accessories from it. It connects to the phone with a built-in USB-C cable and controls focus or zoom over Bluetooth with the dial on the front; the record button starts and stops a take without you letting go of the handle.

Horizontal or vertical without rebuilding

Switching from a horizontal to a vertical shot takes seconds: the handle is re-seated in the locking clamp in the other position and the controls stay under your fingers. Labels in the picture: Horizontal Mode and Vertical Mode.

Universal USB-C hub with an Arca-Swiss plate

The hub connects to the phone over USB-C and adds an HDMI 4K/60 Hz output for a monitor, two 10 Gbps USB-C ports for external SSDs and a 3.5 mm audio jack. A PD 3.0 input of up to 100 W (20 V/5 A) powers the phone and the rig. Its underside carries an integrated Arca-Swiss plate and a 1/4″-20 thread with locating pins, so the rig drops straight onto a tripod, into a gimbal or onto a phone stabiliser.

Variable ND from 1 to 10 stops

The box holds two magnetic 58mm variable ND filters: 1–5 stops and 6–10 stops. Together they cut 1 to 10 stops of light, so you can keep the aperture open and the shutter cinematic even in direct sun. They go onto the case through the 58mm filter tray, which slides into the slot at the front and is held by a safety buckle.

Cooling module, wooden handle and LED panel

The Khronos parts for iPhone do not change with a new phone generation: the cooling module, USB-C hub, Focus PD handle, wooden handle and LED panel in this kit are the same ones the manufacturer supplies with the earlier Khronos cases, and they attach to the case for the iPhone 18 Pro with the same locking clamp.

The Cooling System V2 keeps the phone cool through long takes. It has 22W cooling with variable fan speed and two modes, a fan running up to 6700 rpm, a thermoelectric chip, a heat-conductive copper plate and a thermal paste sheet; in extreme mode the cooling plate drops to 3.7 °C. It runs off USB-C from an external source or from the handle, and charges the phone wirelessly over MagSafe at the same time.

The circular wooden handle is the quieter alternative to the Focus PD handle. It carries a NATO rail for traditional camera accessories and swivels, so you can turn it to whatever position suits the shot.

The daylight Khronos LED panel has three fixed brightness levels and CRI ≥ 95 colour rendering. It mounts in several places on the case and its bracket tilts.

Power routed through the case

The case has electrical contacts integrated along its whole length, so with the Focus PD handle attached, power passes through them to the cooling module and other accessories without an extra cable.

Rugged build in two colours

The case protects the phone through daily wear and snaps on, so it comes off just as quickly without disconnecting the mounted accessories. The body is an aluminium alloy with rubber and plastic, in muted colours with a fine metallic surface texture. The kit comes in Black and Space Gray; the cooling module, handles, hub, tray, filters and LED panel are black in both versions.

Filter and lens adapters

Instead of the 58mm filter tray, the slot at the front of the case also takes the Quick Release Filter Tray for square Khronos magnetic filters, or a lens adapter with a 17 mm thread or a T-series mount. The T-series adapter carries all four Khronos lenses: the 40 mm telephoto, 16 mm wide-angle, 10× macro and 8 mm fisheye. Adapters and lenses are sold separately.

Ultimate Kit or Street Snap Kit?

The Ultimate Kit (TK-IP18-PB-B) is the full outfit: over the Street Snap Kit it adds the Cooling System V2, the USB-C hub with HDMI and an Arca-Swiss plate and the circular wooden handle, and it carries two variable ND filters instead of the Black Mist polarizer. The Street Snap Kit (TK-IP18-PA-B) is the lighter five-part rig for the street, when you do not want to bother with cables.

Manufacturer’s note: connecting an external audio source to the Focus PD handle or the USB-C hub requires a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS cable. It is not included.

What to add

The optional Khronos Multi-Functional Magnetic Back Plate adds a kickstand, a magnetic finger ring, a box cutter and a lanyard port. Through the locking clamp the case takes the Universal NATO Mount with a NATO rail and a 1/4″-20 thread, the Cold Shoe Quick Release Adapter, the Adjustable Handle or an SSD holder. A right-angle USB-C cable (18 cm) suits the hub; audio connects with a 3.5 mm TRS to TRRS cable.
