Tilta Khronos Multi-Functional Magnetic Backplate for iPhone 18 Pro - Space Gray

The Khronos Multi-Functional Magnetic Back Plate for the iPhone 18 Pro snaps magnetically onto the back of the phone and adds a ring that pulls out as an adjustable kickstand and rotates 360°, a hidden box cutter, a flat-head driver, a ruler, a bottle opener and a lanyard eyelet. It needs no case to work, and on the Khronos case for the iPhone 18 Pro it also locks in mechanically. The plate for the iPhone 18 Pro Max has its own part number (TK-IP18-PMBP-SG). The Khronos back plate is a standalone part for the iPhone 18 Pro in Space Gray: a thin aluminium plate the size of a credit card that holds magnetically on the back of the phone and carries the things you would otherwise keep loose in your pockets. Compared with the iPhone 17 generation it has a newly designed ring with a pull-out mechanism that doubles as a kickstand, plus a bottle opener.

A toolbox the size of a card

The aluminium-alloy plate has the footprint of a credit card and stays out of the way in a pocket. Magnets hold it on the back of the phone, so it goes on and comes off in one move, and the tools are always with you.

A ring that is also a kickstand

The newly designed ring pulls out further than before and serves as an adjustable kickstand. Folded, it drops back into the plate and nothing sticks out.

Rotates 360°

The ring turns to any angle, so it extends in whichever direction you need. Prop the phone up with it in portrait or landscape.

Magnetic ring

Slip a finger through it and hold the phone without fear of dropping it. The ring is magnetic and also works with other magnetic accessories, including wireless chargers.

Hidden tools

The box cutter slides out at the press of a button and cuts tape or plastic wrap. There is a flat-head driver in the corner of the plate, a ruler and a bottle opener along the edge, and a lanyard eyelet.

On its own or with the Khronos case

The plate holds on any iPhone that supports magnetic accessories; the manufacturer lists the iPhone 15, 16, 17 and 18 Pro and Pro Max. On the Khronos case for the iPhone 18 Pro it also drops into the recess and locks in mechanically.

Pro and Pro Max are not interchangeable

This item is made for the iPhone 18 Pro. It does not fit the iPhone 18 Pro Max, which has its own product (TK-IP18-PMBP-SG). The part numbers differ by a single letter, but the phones differ in size, so check the exact model before you order.

What to add

The plate also suits the Khronos case, which has a recess and a mechanical lock for it in its back. The case for the iPhone 18 Pro in Space Gray is TK-IP18-PFC-SG and is sold separately.
