The Tilta Khronos Cold Shoe Quick Release Adapter is the simplest way to attach traditional camera accessories to a Khronos case. The case itself has no cold shoe — it carries mounting points with a locking clamp, and that is exactly where this adapter snaps in. Black finish.

Locking clamp at any mounting point

The adapter uses the same locking clamp as the other Khronos parts. It fits any mounting point on the case: press the release button, line the adapter up on the pins and let go — it holds firmly and needs no tools. It comes off just as quickly, so switching between a rig with a microphone and a bare phone takes seconds. The aluminum body is light and adds no bulk to the case.

A cold shoe for microphone, light or monitor

On top sits a single cold shoe, the interface that on-camera microphones, small LED lights, wireless receivers and mounts all share. That puts a shotgun microphone right above the lens of the case, and with a cold shoe monitor mount (not included) an external preview monitor as well. Whatever normally goes on a camera fits the phone in a Khronos case too.
