The Tilta Khronos ARCA Quick Release Adapter (38mm) is the link between the Khronos case and the world of tripods and gimbals. It snaps into the locking clamp at a mounting point on the case and carries an Arca-Swiss quick release plate underneath, so the whole rig sits on a tripod head or gimbal without screwing anything in. Locking clamp at any mounting point

The adapter uses the same locking clamp as the other Khronos parts. It fits any mounting point on the case: press the release button, line the adapter up on the pins and let go — it holds firmly and needs no tools. On the bottom mounting point it becomes a tripod base; on a side point, a mount for vertical shooting. The aluminum body is light and adds no bulk to the case.

Arca-Swiss 38 mm quick release plate — tripod and gimbal

The underside of the adapter is a 38 mm wide quick release plate to the Arca-Swiss standard. It slides into the Arca-Swiss clamp of a tripod head, a tripod quick release system or a gimbal — it fits the DJI RS 2, RS 3 and RS 3 Pro and any other support with an Arca-Swiss clamp. Going from handheld to tripod or gimbal is a single click; the rubber faces of the plate hold the rig without twisting.
