In addition to the new A7CII and A7CR cameras, Sony also introduced a wide-angle zoom G-Master FE 16-35 mm f/2.8 GM II for E-mount FF cameras! The lens covers focal lengths from 16mm to 35mm with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire zoom range and offers an upgraded optical design compared to the previous version, incl. XA (extreme aspherical) element for excellent optical resolution and high luminosity. It also offers excellent close-up performance throughout the zoom range, a minimum focusing distance of 0.22m and a maximum magnification of 0.32x. The Nano AR Coating II surface treatment effectively suppresses flare and enables clear images to be captured even in strong backlight. Both models are equipped with the same AI unit and BIONZ XR processors found in the Alpha 7R V and Alpha 6700, and also feature a powerful AF system, in-body five-axis image stabilisation, digital audio interface support, high-quality video recording (up to 4:2:2, 10-bit) up to 4Kp60 resolution and Sony S-Cinetone profiles.
