The G-Master FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II wide-angle zoom lens for FF E-mount cameras covers focal lengths from 16mm to 35mm with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range, and offers an upgraded optical design compared to the previous version, incl. XA (extreme aspherical) element for superior optical resolution and high luminosity. It also offers excellent close-up performance throughout the zoom range, a minimum focusing distance of 0.22m and a maximum magnification of 0.32x. The Nano AR Coating II surface treatment effectively suppresses flare and enables clear images to be captured even in strong backlight. It also boasts a compact size (with an overall length of 111.5 mm and a weight of approximately 547 g) and is approximately 20% smaller compared to the first generation. On sale from 9/10 2023.
The FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II lens features XD (extreme dynamic) linear stepper motors for silent and fast autofocusing during shooting and filming, and is up to twice as fast as conventional models. Even in high frame rate videos where focus shifts are noticeable, the subject is tracked with high precision. Combined with the Alpha 1 camera body, high-speed continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second is possible with fast, highly accurate and silent focusing.
The FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II offers high ergonomics and outstanding performance in still and video shooting. By limiting breathing during focusing during video recording compared to previous models, high-quality image expression can be achieved without angle-of-field fluctuations. In addition, it suppresses center of gravity movement during zooming and enables stable shooting even in setups with a camera stabilizer. Operability has also been improved with features such as an aperture ring that can be switched on/off with a toggle switch, and two focus hold buttons that can be assigned the desired function from the camera body. A fluorine coating is applied to the front lens barrel so that dirt adhering to the lens surface can be easily removed. The dust- and splash-proof design allows the camera to be safely used outdoors...

The latest addition to Sony’s Alpha A7 family of hybrid photo/video DSLM cameras features a newly developed 33MP full-frame sensor, the latest version of the BIONZ XR processor, and an advanced AF system based on technologies from the flagship Alpha 1 model. The sensor boasts a dynamic range of 15 EV and a wide sensitivity range (up to ISO 50–204800); video recording is possible in Super 35 4Kp60 or FF 4Kp30 modes with 4:2:2, 10-bit sampling. When paired with a Sony E-mount lens, the Sony Alpha A7 IV also offers a new Breathing Compensation feature to minimize lens breathing. It also features a 5-axis image stabilization system, a more comfortable grip, a CFexpress Type A media slot, and an OLED viewfinder with 1.6x higher resolution compared to the A7 III. A kit with the Sony FE 28–70mm f/3.5–5.6 OSS lens will also be available. Body only. We have the A7 IV, including the FE 28–70mm kit lens, on display at our showroom in Prague for hands-on testing.
