Twice the bandwidth of CFexpress 2.0 — up to 4 GB/s on Type B cards.
The Element Pro CFexpress 4.0 Type B card reads at up to 3,500 MB/s and writes at up to 3 100 MB/s with a sustained 2 500 MB/s — for 8K and 12K recording at up to 120 fps without dropped frames. It is compatible with the Canon EOS R5, R5 Mark II, R3 and C500, Nikon Z6, Z8 and Z9, Atomos Ninja TX and Blackmagic PYXIS 12K and URSA Cine 12K. 2 TB capacity, 1…
2 TB capacity, 1 200 TB endurance, 3-year warranty.
PCIe 4.0 doubles the bandwidth of Type B cards: 3,500 MB/s read, up to 3 100 MB/s write and just 1.25 W at a sustained 400 MB/s write. Up to 2 TB capacity, 3-year warranty.

The card is compatible with the Canon EOS R5, R5 Mark II, R5 C, R3 and C500, Nikon Z6 II, Z8 and Z9, Atomos Ninja TX recorders and the Blackmagic PYXIS 12K and URSA Cine 12K cameras — anywhere with a CFexpress Type B slot. CFexpress 4.0 is backward compatible: in an older slot it runs at that slot’s speed, in a new one it uses PCIe 4.0 to the full.

A sustained 2 500 MB/s write on the 2 TB version and a sustained 3 400 MB/s read handle RAW recording in the highest profiles. Adaptive Thermal Control™ stops the card throttling on long shoots, SuperCruise™ keeps the write speed stable and RAID ECC can rebuild even severely corrupted data.

At a sustained 400 MB/s write the card draws around 1.25 W — less than typical CFexpress 2.0 cards — and Smartstream™ balances performance and power draw so the body lasts longer on one battery. 3,500 MB/s read through a USB4 reader moves a full card to the edit suite in minutes.
3D TLC memory, 1 200 TB write endurance, an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours, operation from −12 to 72 °C and storage from −40 to 85 °C — figures from the industrial storage Exascend builds on.
Twice the bandwidth of CFexpress 2.0 — up to 4 GB/s on Type B cards.
Stored data is refreshed continuously before the natural degradation of flash memory can put it at risk — even under extreme workloads.
Full performance in burst shooting and fast action; the card does not choke even on long RAW bursts.
The Element Pro Type B series comes in four capacities; this is the 2 TB version with 1 200 TB endurance and a sustained 2 500 MB/s write.
