USB4: 40 Gb/s for CFexpress 4.0 Type B

USB4 carries up to 40 Gb/s — twice USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 — so CFexpress 4.0 Type B cards read at full speed and older CFexpress 2.0 Type B cards as fast as they allow. The aluminium body with a thermal pad sheds heat during long copies, the included metal stickers hold the reader to a laptop by magnet and the carabiner loop hangs it from a bag.

Offloading without the wait

USB4 carries up to 40 Gb/s — the reader never holds back the card inside it, and a full day’s shoot reaches the edit suite in minutes. It connects over USB-C to Mac, PC and tablet with no drivers: plug in and read.

Aluminium for the field, 2-year warranty

The aluminium body with a thermal pad handles long copies without throttling; the loop and magnetic stickers keep it to hand on set and in a backpack. Exascend backs the reader with a 2-year warranty.
