Two inputs, six SDI outputs

Select one of two input sources and distribute it to six outputs for monitors, recorders, or downstream video equipment. The unit supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI and preserves up to eight channels of embedded PCM audio at 48 kHz.

Remote switching via GPI

Use GPI to select input A or B, then distribute the chosen 3G/HD/SD-SDI signal to six outputs. You can also switch sources directly on the front panel.

Switching Between Primary and Backup Sources

Input A or B can be selected via a front-panel switch or remotely via GPI. This makes the VP-597 ideal for distributing a single signal to multiple displays as well as for switching to a backup source during a live event.

Stable SDI Distribution Over Longer Distances

Relocking restores the signal’s timing for downstream equipment. The compact metal unit is powered by 12 V and can be mounted in a rack using the optional Datavideo RMK-2 bracket.
