A camera view on your iPhone

This manufacturer photograph shows the original SeeMo in a compact camera rig. Connect HDMI from the camera and the dedicated USB cable to one supported iPhone or iPad. Accsoon SEE displays the live image; the phone, camera, lens and battery shown are separate equipment.

Choose the wired signal path

The diagram shows alternative HDMI sources and either an iPhone or iPad connected by USB. These are examples, not simultaneous multi-device reception. The separate USB 5 V / 1 A output powers other compatible low-power equipment; it does not charge Apple devices.

Keep the two USB ports distinct

HDMI-A accepts up to 1080p60. USB-C VIDEO OUT sends H.264 video to iOS using the supplied Accsoon cable. The other USB-C port is a power output. An NP-F550/750/970 battery powers SeeMo; the locking mechanism secures the battery. The 1/4″-20 socket and included cold shoe adapter support mounting.

Check focus and exposure

Accsoon SEE provides focus assist, framing grids, zebra and a histogram. These tools help assess sharpness, composition and exposure on the mobile screen. Screen brightness, colour and resolution depend on the connected device; SeeMo has no built-in display with a fixed brightness rating.

Record, share or stream

Record Full HD up to 60 fps to the mobile device in H.264 with AAC 48 kHz / 16-bit audio. Preview and share clips from the mobile device. RTMP streaming uses its Internet connection, which remains available because the camera connection is wired. Retain the camera originals for your main recording.

A larger view with an iPad

The modular image-processing unit detaches from the phone clamp for use with a compatible optional Accsoon iPad PowerCage. A supported USB-C iPad can charge over the video cable; Lightning iPhones do not charge with this original model. The PowerCage, iPad and battery are purchased separately.

Choose SeeMo for your connection

The table compares iOS models: SeeMo has HDMI Full HD60; Pro adds SDI input and loop-out; SeeMo 4K has HDMI UHD30 and an SD reader. IN/OUT means input/output, SD means card reader and the battery symbol means power supply. W is consumption without mobile charging, 1/4″-20 is mount count, mm is body size and g is weight without battery. Original SeeMo does not charge Lightning devices. Click to enlarge the chart.

Device compatibility

Use the current Accsoon SEE app and firmware. iOS 12.0 or later is required; manufacturer examples include iPhone 8 and later, iPad generation 6 and later, iPad Pro 9.7/10.5/11/12.9″, Air generation 3 and later and mini generation 5 and later. Available features and smooth Full HD performance depend on the connected device. The clamp is 65–90 mm wide for 5.5–6.7″ phones; iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini need a case for clamping.
