Tilta Khronos iPhone 17 Pro Street Snap Kit - Black

The Khronos Street Snap Kit is a stripped-down mobile filmmaking rig for the iPhone 17 Pro: aluminium case, Focus PD handle with a built-in battery and focus and zoom control, 58mm filter tray, magnetic 58mm polarizer with Black Mist 1/2 and an LED panel. Five parts that fit in a jacket pocket. The full outfit is the Ultimate Kit (TK-IP17-PB-B / TK-IP17-PB-SG). Colour Black.

The Khronos Street Snap Kit is a finished mobile filmmaking rig for the iPhone 17 Pro in Black. There is no picking parts one by one and working out what fits what: everything in the box joins with the same Khronos locking clamp and is ready to shoot.

Pro and Pro Max are not interchangeable

This kit is built around the case for the iPhone 17 Pro. That case does not fit the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and kits for the other phone model carry their own part numbers, so check the exact model before you order.

What is in the kit

The rig is built around the all-aluminium Khronos case, which snaps onto the phone and carries every other part. Accessories attach with the locking clamp: press the button, seat it on the pins, release. No tools, and no taking the rest of the rig apart.

The Focus PD handle has its own battery, charged over USB-C, and powers the whole rig from it. It connects to the phone with a built-in USB-C cable and controls focus or zoom over Bluetooth with the dial on the front; the record button means you never have to let go of the handle to start or stop a take.

The 58mm filter tray slides into the slot at the front of the case and a safety buckle keeps it from sliding out. The included magnetic 58mm polarizer with Black Mist 1/2 cuts reflections off glass and water, brings saturation back to skies and colours, and at the same time softens the over-sharp digital rendering of the iPhone and blooms the highlights.

The daylight Khronos LED panel has three fixed brightness levels and CRI ≥ 95 colour rendering. It mounts in several places on the case and its bracket tilts.

Ultimate Kit or Street Snap Kit?

The Street Snap Kit (TK-IP17-PA-B) is a light five-part rig for the street: case, Focus PD handle, filter tray, Black Mist 1/2 polarizer and LED panel. The Ultimate Kit (TK-IP17-PB-B / TK-IP17-PB-SG) adds the Cooling System V2, the USB-C hub with HDMI and an Arca-Swiss plate and the circular wooden handle, and carries a variable ND filter instead of the polarizer. That one is a rig for a long shoot, not for a walk.

Manufacturer’s note: connecting an external audio source to the Focus PD handle or the USB-C hub requires a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS cable. It is not included.
