RGBlink mini-mx SDI with 2 vue 4K 20X PTZ bundle

The RGBlink mini-mx SDI set with two vue 4K 20X PTZ cameras combines a 10-channel switcher with six faders, a 5.5″ touchscreen and an eight-channel audio mix with two PTZ cameras with 20× optical zoom. The switcher controls the cameras via VISCA or NDI, streams over RTMP(S), records to a USB-C drive and also works as a UVC webcam.

A set for two-camera productions: the mini-mx SDI switcher handles up to ten sources and eight audio channels, two vue 4K PTZ cameras with 20× zoom cover the whole hall as well as a close-up of the speaker, and everything is controlled from one desk. It suits schools, conferences, church services and sports coverage.

A switcher and two cameras in one set

The set combines the RGBlink mini-mx SDI switcher with two RGBlink vue 4K PTZ cameras with 20× optical zoom. The cameras connect to the switcher via HDMI or 3G-SDI, and its joystick pans, tilts, zooms and focuses them over the network. They are powered over PoE+ or from their own adapter.

Ten connectors, eight audio channels

The mini-mx SDI accepts four HDMI 2.0 sources up to 4K60, four 3G-SDI cameras, a USB camera (UVC) and bidirectional NDI | HX2, from which you build six input channels. A 5.5″ touchscreen, six faders, a T-bar and a joystick share one 291 × 223 × 71 mm panel, powered over USB-C PD (12 V / 3.3 A, max. 40 W).

HDMI and 3G-SDI for professional cameras

Four 3G-SDI inputs (up to 1080p60) bring in broadcast cameras over longer distances, and four HDMI 2.0 inputs accept up to 4096 × 2160p60. Complete the six channels with a USB camera or an RGBlink AI mini via UVC and an NDI source from the local network; the NDI-licensed Ethernet port receives and sends at the same time.

Mixing eight audio channels

Two XLR/6.35 mm combo inputs for microphones (MIC 1 with 48 V phantom power), a 6.35 mm line input, Bluetooth audio and the audio embedded in the HDMI and SDI inputs – up to eight channels in total. Microphones get noise reduction, equalizer, echo, reverb and voice fusion, and the line input can be delayed by up to 8 frames. Outputs: 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm jack.

Layers, graphics and scoreboard

Build a scene from two video layers, a background image and graphics from the media library – logos, titles or pictures. Dynamic text overlays and a scoreboard show names, scores or time right in the broadcast, and picture-in-picture or split screen are set up without a computer.

One-touch chroma key

Key out a presenter in front of a green or blue background right on the switcher and place them in a virtual studio or in front of graphics. Keying settings are saved in the preset scenes together with the other parameters.

PTZ camera control from the panel

The joystick and zoom toggle control PTZ cameras via VISCA or NDI – pan, tilt, zoom and focus, including movement speed. A camera preset also remembers the input, so recalling it switches straight to that camera. An NDI camera connects with a single Ethernet cable for both picture and control.

Streaming, NDI and recording at once

Over Ethernet the mini-mx SDI streams via RTMP(S) to at least four platforms at once while sending NDI at the same time. With RGBlink TAO Cloud you stream to up to 32 platforms and manage the switcher remotely. Meanwhile the program is recorded as MP4 to a USB drive or SSD of up to 2 TB.

Professional PTZ camera in 4K

The Sony 1/2.8″ 8.42 MP sensor delivers 3840 × 2160 at 30 frames per second. The image processor with 2D and 3D noise reduction keeps the picture clean in dimmer light – the camera works from 0.5 lux – and the wide dynamic range copes with shots where a bright window meets a darker hall.

Lens with 20× optical zoom

Focal length 4.8–96 mm, aperture F1.8–F2.9 and horizontal field of view 60.04°–3.81° – from the whole room down to a close-up of a face. On top of the optical zoom the camera adds 16× digital zoom and focuses automatically, manually or at one press.

TALLY and presenter tracking

The TALLY indicator on top of the camera is visible through 360° and clearly shows whether the camera is on standby or on air. The camera keeps the presenter's face or figure in shot on its own; tracking can be limited to a chosen zone.

Connections and power

The rear panel has HDMI, 3G-SDI (1080p60 up to 100 m), USB 3.0 with UVC and UAC for video conferencing, gigabit LAN with PoE+, a 3.5 mm line input, RS232 in and loop-through out, and RS485. Over the network the camera streams H.264 or H.265 via RTSP, RTMP and SRT. It is powered over PoE+ or from the supplied 12 V adapter and is controlled with VISCA, Pelco-D, Pelco-P and VISCA over IP.
