The mini-edge SDI features a built-in 5.5" full-color HD display for real-time monitoring of inputs, preview, and program outputs. Its tactile control surface includes illuminated buttons, knobs, a joystick, and a T-bar fader for fast, precise switching. Integrated PTZ control via VISCA and NDI|HX3 allows direct pan, tilt, zoom, and focus control of up to four cameras directly from the switcher, with joystick-based operation and preset recall.

The cameras support HDMI, 3G-SDI, LAN, and USB video outputs, with RTSP and RTMP streaming up to 4K30, AI-based face and human tracking, and a silent precision gimbal for smooth movement. A 360° tally light and front OLED status display enhance live production awareness.

For streaming and recording, the mini-edge SDI supports USB-C UVC output for direct use as a webcam with platforms such as Zoom, Teams, OBS, and vMix, as well as IP and NDI|HX3 streaming. Multi-platform streaming to up to four destinations is supported natively, while RGBlink TAO Cloud enables up to 32 simultaneous streams. USB-C 3.0 recording allows direct recording to external drives up to 2TB, with simultaneous streaming and recording supported. Professional audio features include XLR and 1/4" mic/line inputs with phantom power, embedded HDMI audio, audio delay, AFV switching, and a full audio mixing console.
