The white Ulanzi VL49 RGB is a small light for creators who want to add a splash of colour, fill in a detail or simply keep a basic lamp in the bag. It combines an RGB mode with adjustable white of 2500–9000 K and a built-in battery. Its greatest benefit comes close to the subject: six watts and a small emitting surface are a different tool from a large studio light with a softbox.

The Ulanzi TC001 combines a retro pixel look with features that can serve a concrete purpose on your desk. The display with 256 LED dots shows the time, a timer or other information, and for advanced users there are expansion options through alternative firmware. It is interesting both for content creators and for people who want to keep track of their working time outside the monitor. Before buying, it is worth separating the everyday features from the settings that already require technical work.

When you move a camera between supports, speed is only useful if the attachment is also clear and properly secured. The Ulanzi UKA12 Pro combines an automatic snap-in with a manual safety lock and adds several mounting options. It is interesting for creators who often change the way they work and want to cut down on repeated screwing. The key point before buying remains the compatibility of your specific plate and support.

The Ulanzi SK-23 is a small electric suction base that, instead of a lever, actively creates a vacuum. It offers a 1/4″-20 screw and can create a mounting point on a suitable smooth surface. It is interesting for lightweight setups, a phone or an action camera with a matching holder. The key question, however, is not just the weight of the device: the surface and the way you use it also decide. Here we describe the M085 base on its own, not the extended kit with an upper holder.

The Ulanzi LM19 is a foldable ring light for a phone, with magnetic attachment and its own rechargeable battery. Instead of a large setup, it offers a small accessory for video calls, selfies or short close-up shoots. What makes it interesting is the combination of adjustable white, a tilting joint and the option to use the light as a stand. In this review we focus on the black L049GBB1 variant and on who this compact format may suit.
