Product description
The Datavideo HDR-70 is a 1U HD/SD-SDI video recorder designed for installation in a 19″ rack. It records the SDI input signal to MPEG-2 MXF OP1A or MOV files and supports recording in both Long GOP and I-Frame modes.
The active pass-through SDI output allows you to monitor the input during recording; once recording is complete, the recording can be played back via SDI or HDMI. The device also offers balanced analog XLR audio inputs and outputs, timecode, external synchronization, and RS-232/RS-422 or GPI remote control.
Recording is performed using a removable 2.5-inch HDD or SSD in an HE-1 cartridge. The package includes two cartridges, but the drive itself is not included. Recorded media can be transferred to a computer via USB 2.0.
HD/SD-SDI Video Recorder
The HDR-70 records and plays back both HD and SD video from an SDI input. Its 1U rack-mount design makes it easy to integrate into a control room or broadcast van. Recordings are saved as MPEG-2 MXF OP1A or MOV files; a USB 2.0 port on a removable cartridge is used to transfer media to a computer. A hard drive or SSD is not included.
Connectivity and Remote Control
An active SDI pass-through output allows you to monitor the input signal during recording. During playback, SDI and HDMI outputs are available. Balanced XLR inputs and outputs are complemented by Black Burst or tri-level synchronization, time code input and output, and remote control via RS-232/RS-422 or GPI.
