The CineTreak CT-B1 is a compact 4K USB/UVC-to-HDMI converter that turns a compatible USB camera into an HDMI source for a monitor, recording device, or video production suite. It accepts UVC signals via both USB-C and USB-A, converts them to HDMI 2.0, and provides output up to UHD 4K at 30 Hz. With power delivery via USB-C, a Sony L-series battery plate, and a separate 5 V / 2 A USB-A output, it’s ready for both studio and field use.

UVC to HDMI
The CineTreak CT-B1 converter enables seamless signal conversion from a USB camera to HDMI for professional displays, video switchers, recorders, and production systems. It supports UVC 1.1 and 1.5 protocols, accepts input via USB-C or USB-A with a USB 3.0 interface, and provides HDMI 2.0 output up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz.
Image
The CT-B1 processes UVC video using MJPEG decoding and converts it to an HDMI signal with a resolution of up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz. This compact converter thus connects modern USB cameras to standard HDMI infrastructure without requiring a computer between the source and the display or production equipment.

Interfaces
The USB camera can be connected via the USB-C or USB-A port. The HDMI OUT port transmits the converted video signal to a display, switcher, or recording device. A separate DC IN connector provides power; press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the device on or off, and indicator lights show power status, operation, and successful signal conversion.
Power
The CT-B1 is designed for portability and flexibility. It can be powered via the USB-C input at 5 V / 2 A, 9 V / 2 A, or 12 V / 2 A, or from a Sony L-series battery mounted on the rear panel. The manual specifically lists the NP-F550 and NP-F970 batteries. The USB-A output provides 5 V / 2 A for a camera, phone, microphone, or other accessories.

Mobile workflow
Measuring 90 × 68 × 26 mm, the CT-B1 easily integrates into a camera setup. The standard cold shoe mount allows you to attach additional accessories, while battery and status indicators provide quick feedback without the need for an additional display. The converter is designed for streaming, recording, live production, and mobile AV installations.
