Product description

CineTreak Mixer Plus is a compact video switcher with four HDMI inputs, a built-in 4-inch screen with Multi View, PGM and AUX outputs and a USB UVC output for uncompressed HD streaming to a computer. It controls up to four PTZ cameras via VISCA over IP and offers chroma key, luma key, PIP, DSK, logo, 30 transition effects, two microphone inputs and a headphone output. Ideal for live streaming, teaching and hybrid events.

A super-compact video switcher with four HDMI inputs, a built-in 4-inch screen and PTZ camera control. At 189 × 49 × 109 mm and 393 g it moves easily between studio, classroom and hall.

Up to six layers in the program

Upstream keyers luma key, chroma key and PIP plus downstream keyers DSK and LOGO build the program from up to six layers. A PNG logo with transparency (alpha channel) can be placed anywhere in the picture.

Landscape and portrait

Mixer Plus supports both landscape and portrait mode, so it can also produce vertical live streams for social networks.

Control from a computer

Over LAN the video switcher connects to the official CineTreak control software for PC, which gives access to all functions of the device.

Transitions and effects

Besides the CUT and the automatic AUTO transition, the video switcher offers WIPE with multiple patterns, MIX, DIP, the STILL freeze frame and the FTB fade to black.

Media library and logos

The media library contains several built-in backgrounds and logos; your own BMP images at 1920 × 1080 and PNG logos with an alpha channel are loaded from a FAT32 USB drive.

Four HDMI inputs and all connectors at hand

The four HDMI inputs accept cameras, a computer or a player and the video switcher changes between them seamlessly. There is one PGM output and one AUX output, a LAN port for PTZ camera control and the control software, two microphone inputs with a headphone output, a USB 2.0 port for media and a USB UVC port for the computer.

AUX output to suit your needs

The AUX output can carry any of the inputs IN1 to IN4, the program (PGM), a clean program without graphics (Clean PGM), the preview (PVW), a clean preview (Clean PVW), a test pattern (PAT) or Multi View.

Multi View on the built-in screen

In Multi View mode the 4-inch screen shows all inputs at once together with the program (PGM) and preview (PVW) windows, resolution indicators and audio level meters. The MV button switches the screen to a full-screen view.

Two microphones, headphones and 30 transitions

The two 3.5 mm microphone inputs accept a microphone or a line signal, and the headphone output provides real-time monitoring. HDMI audio can be delayed by −30 to 500 ms, the microphones by 0 to 500 ms. For transitions there are 30 effects including MIX and DIP with adjustable duration.

PTZ camera control via VISCA over IP

With the joystick and the CAM, POS and ZOOM buttons you control up to four PTZ cameras using the VISCA over IP protocol. Each camera has four position presets, so you can jump between prepared shots with a single press during the broadcast.

Five layers at your fingertips

CHROMA removes a green or blue background, LUMA performs keying by brightness (lower thirds, white logos on black), PIP places a second source in a movable window, DSK adds graphics after the main mix and LOGO shows a pre-loaded logo. Each layer has its own status indicator.

To the computer via USB UVC

The UVC port delivers an uncompressed picture up to 1080p60 (YUY2) straight into OBS and other streaming applications, with no extra capture card. The neighbouring USB 2.0 port loads logos, backgrounds and still images from a FAT32 drive.

Four sources, one compact video switcher

CineTreak Mixer Plus is a compact HD video switcher for live streaming, hybrid events, education and mobile production. It combines four HDMI inputs, separate PGM and AUX outputs, a built-in 4-inch screen and a USB 3.1 UVC output for direct computer connection.

Clear connectivity for live production

Four HDMI inputs are joined by HDMI PGM, configurable HDMI AUX, LAN for PTZ camera control via VISCA over IP and USB 3.1 UVC. AUX can be routed to individual inputs, PGM, PVW, clean outputs, a test pattern or Multi View.

Hands-on control without menu diving

Dedicated PGM and PVW keys, a PTZ joystick, rotary controls and the built-in screen give the operator fast access to transitions, audio, keying and camera positions. The video switcher supports CUT, AUTO, MIX, DIP, WIPE, STILL and FTB.

Image layers and audio under control

Chroma key, luma key, PIP, DSK and logo tools build up to six program layers. Two 3.5 mm microphone/line inputs, a headphone output and adjustable audio delay make live-program synchronisation straightforward.
