CineTreak Stream 1

CineTreak Stream 1 is a compact video switcher for multi-camera production, streaming, education, corporate events and worship. It has four HDMI inputs (HDMI 1 and 2 accept up to 4K60), PGM and AUX outputs, H.264 recording with instant playback, streaming to two RTMP/RTMPS destinations and control of up to four PTZ cameras via VISCA over IP. Chroma and luma key, PIP/POP, DSK and a 9:16 portrait mode complete live production without a built-in display.

Five live sources, direct streaming and PTZ control

Switching, audio, keying, graphics, recording and streaming share one 244 mm wide console that needs no computer to go live. Two rows of PGM and PVW buttons, a T-bar and a joystick give confidence during a live show, and you watch the picture on an external monitor via multiview.

Five live channels

The four cameras on the HDMI inputs are joined by the AUX channel. Feed it an online stream with the Down Streaming function, or videos and images from an SD card or USB drive – pre-recorded content goes on air without any extra device.

Stream to two destinations

The built-in H.264 encoder streams over LAN to two RTMP/RTMPS addresses at once, such as YouTube and Facebook, without a separate computer. Recording and streaming bitrates are set separately.

PTZ camera control

Controls up to four PTZ cameras via VISCA over IP straight from the console – with the joystick and the CAM, POS and ZOOM buttons, including position presets.

Webcam for your computer

Over USB (UVC), Stream 1 connects to a computer as a webcam with up to 1080p60 – for OBS, Zoom and other applications.

Under 12 W

It runs on 7–24 V and comes with a 12 V / 2 A adapter. At 608 g it suits the studio, the classroom and mobile production alike.

Four HDMI inputs, two in 4K

HDMI 1 and 2 are HDMI 2.0 inputs and accept signals up to 2160p60, HDMI 3 and 4 work up to 1080p60. Connect cameras, computers, game consoles and presentation sources; the program and AUX output run in Full HD 1080p.

Inputs and connectors

The rear panel carries four HDMI inputs, HDMI PGM and HDMI AUX outputs, LAN, two USB ports (recording, webcam, UVC output), two 3.5 mm microphone inputs, a headphone output and DC 12 V power. The SD card slot is on the side. The switcher has no built-in display – the AUX output sends multiview to an external monitor.

Two PIP windows and POP

Two picture-in-picture (PIP) windows and picture-outside-picture (POP) can be adjusted in size, position, crop and zoom – for interviews, presentations, gaming streams and education.

Chroma key, luma key and DSK

Chroma key and luma key build a green-screen virtual studio, while the downstream DSK key and two logos add titles, graphics and a station logo. The program builds up to eight layers.

Sources, audio, streaming and recording

The diagram shows the signal path: four cameras, the AUX channel with Down Streaming and local media, two microphones and monitoring, PTZ control and the outputs – PGM, AUX for multiview, RTMPS streaming to two destinations, UVC, LAN and recording to an SD card.

Landscape 16:9 and portrait 9:16

One switch turns a landscape broadcast for YouTube into a 9:16 portrait format for TikTok, Instagram or YouTube Shorts. In portrait mode you simply adjust the camera framing and the switcher sends a 9:16 picture to the stream.

Recording to SD card and USB drive

The program records in H.264 to an SD card or USB drive and is ready for instant playback, even during a live broadcast. Recording and streaming each have their own bitrate.

Network control and Bitfocus Companion

The web interface lets you operate the switcher from a computer, phone or iPad on the local network. Bitfocus Companion support enables custom macros and automated switching sequences – for webinars, worship, corporate events and mobile crews.
