Blackmagic Design have introduced a dedicated variant of the URSA Cine digital cinema camera for recording 3D Apple Immersive Video format. The new model Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive will go on sale around the end of this year and will bring a proprietary stereo lens for recording 8K 3D video (2x 8160x7200) with up to 16 EV dynamic range and 90 fps frame rate to Blackmagic RAW. The new features include a URSA Cine body for recording to Blackmagic Media Module media, compatibility with the optional Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF viewfinder, Wi-Fi and 10G Ethernet interfaces, synchronization with Blackmagic Cloud, etc.

New update for Blackmagic ATEM Series overheads offers support for SRT streaming and synchronization with Blackmagic Cloud on models ATEM Mini Pro, ATEM Mini Pro ISO, ATEM Mini Extreme, ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, ATEM SDI Pro ISO a ATEM SDI Extreme ISO. New features also include live editing of recorded files, support for external disks within networks, new options for multiview display and more. Download here.

Update 3.5 for Blackmagic Web Presenter Series streaming solutions fixes intermittent A/V synchronization issues after input signal failure on model Web Presenter 4K, and also improves the display of audio meters on the output, which now always prefers the SDI input of the models HD and 4K. Blackmagic Design introduce a new "G2" PCIe variant of the DeckLink 8K Pro card, now with an expansion card with HDMI 2.1 I/O (up to 4Kp120 DCI and 8Kp60 DCI) for easy connection of 4K and 8K monitors/projectors. With 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.1 interfaces, the DeckLink 8K Pro G2 supports all common SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, 8K and 8K DCI standards including high frame rate modes, Rec. 2020 standard and up to RGB 4:4:4 sampling (12 bits). Third beta DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 speeds up the UltraNR effect for noise reduction and adds the ability to activate the Music Remixer tool for individual clips. Also new is support for HDR display in Windows, improved media playback including a higher number of audio tracks that can be played back in the Source Viewer and Inspector windows without artifacts, and more robust motion tracking functionality in the Fusion section/program.
