Blackmagic Design have introduced a dedicated variant of the URSA Cine digital cinema camera for recording 3D Apple Immersive Video format. The new model Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive will go on sale around the end of this year and will bring a proprietary stereo lens for recording 8K 3D video (2x 8160x7200) with up to 16 EV dynamic range and 90 fps frame rate to Blackmagic RAW. The new features include a URSA Cine body for recording to Blackmagic Media Module media, compatibility with the optional Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF viewfinder, Wi-Fi and 10G Ethernet interfaces, synchronization with Blackmagic Cloud, etc.
