Blackmagic Design today released the Ultimatte 2.2 update, which adds support for 2110 IP video to Ultimatte 12 4K.
This means you can now choose between SDI or 2110 IP for foreground input, giving you a wider range of options for compositing, including footage from 2110 IP-enabled cameras such as the Blackmagic Studio Camera. In addition, you can also send program output over Ethernet, as 2110 IP video is bi-directional over Ethernet.
The Ultimatte 2.2 update is now available as a free download here.
Blackmagic today released Blackmagic Video Assist 3.18, an update that adds support for Blackmagic RAW recording from Panasonic UB10 cameras to the Video Assist 5" 12G HDR and Video Assist 7" 12G HDR models.
When recording Blackmagic RAW using Video Assist 12G HDR, you can also save camera settings to metadata. This means that white balance and exposure are encoded into a file that DaVinci Resolve can read. However, you can still overwrite these settings later when color correcting the RAW palette.
The Blackmagic Video Assist 3.18 update is now available as a free download here.
