A low profile 8K PCI Express card with four independent bi-directional 12G-SDI connectors. It supports SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, 8K and 8K DCI, including high frame rates. It handles 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with Rec. 2020 color space and HDR, carries up to 64 channels of embedded audio and, thanks to its low profile, also fits compact workstations running macOS, Windows or Linux.
Four 12G-SDI connectors on a low profile card
Every Micro BNC connector can be used as an input or an output. The compact card handles single, dual and quad link configurations.

Bi-directional 12G-SDI Micro BNC connectors
Four 12G-SDI Micro BNC connectors support SD, HD, 2K, 4K and 8K in single, dual and quad link with 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling, and switch between 2D and 3D as needed. The small Micro BNC connectors let all four plus the reference input fit on the low profile card; equipment with standard BNC is connected with Micro BNC to BNC cables.
For compact 8K workflows
The card works with 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all modes and 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 8Kp30 DCI, with Rec. 601, 709 and 2020 color spaces. With DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or Media Composer it is used for capture and for monitoring on professional monitors and projectors.
Low profile PCIe x8 card
The card is 180 mm long, weighs 120 g and is cooled by its own fan and heat sink. The 8 lane generation 3 PCI Express interface works in x8 and x16 slots, and power consumption is 18 W. The reference input accepts Tri-Sync and Black Burst.
Software and workflow
The software includes DaVinci Resolve, Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility and the driver for macOS and Windows, and Media Express, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for Linux. Firmware is built into the driver and loads at system start.
Connectors
The four bi-directional 12G-SDI Micro BNC connectors and the reference input are stacked on the low profile card.

Details for compact 8K workflows
DeckLink 8K Pro Mini is a low profile PCIe x8 card for capture and playback of video up to 8K. Its four 12G-SDI Micro BNC connectors support single, dual and quad link operation, SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, 8K and 8K DCI, high frame rates, 10 and 12-bit RGB data with up to 4:4:4 sampling and Rec. 2020 color space.
Bi-directional 12G-SDI
Four bi-directional 12G-SDI Micro BNC connectors support SD/HD/2K/4K/8K and single, dual and quad link 4:2:2/4:4:4 operation. 2D and 3D workflows can be switched as needed.
Sync and PCI Express
The reference input accepts Tri-Sync and Black Burst. Generation 3 PCI Express x8 is compatible with 8 and 16 lane PCIe slots.
Software and workflow
The card works with DaVinci Resolve, Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey and Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility; firmware is built into the driver.
