Four customizable capture cards in one
Each HDMI 2.0b input is independent, with its own format and 8 channels of embedded audio. You can capture two cameras, a computer and a game console at the same time and even combine different applications such as vMix, Wirecast and OBS. The HDMI inputs cannot capture copy protected content.
For software switching and streaming
vMix users can capture several sources at once and switch them in real time, including live streaming. The card takes a single slot, so it also suits compact servers in control rooms, broadcast trucks and data centers.
From SD to 4K DCI 60p
The inputs accept SD, HD up to 1080p60, Ultra HD and 4K DCI up to 60p and computer formats up to 2560 × 1600. They work with 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 4K DCI 30p, 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats and 8-bit YUV 4:2:0 in Ultra HD and 4K DCI 50p and 60p, with the Rec. 601, 709 and 2020 color spaces; HDMI 2.0b supports Deep Color and HDR.
Dimensions and installation
The card is 109 mm long, weighs 128 g and draws 23 W. The PCI Express x8 generation 3 interface works in x8 and x16 slots of computers with macOS, Windows and Linux.
Software and SDK
The Desktop Video software includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for macOS and Windows, and Media Express, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for Linux. The card works with Wirecast, vMix and OBS as well as Cinegy Capture Pro, Softron MovieRecorder or Zoom, and the Desktop Video SDK exposes every input separately.

DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder is a powerful PCIe 3.0 x8 card. Thanks to four independent HDMI 2.0b inputs it can capture four different video sources at up to 60 frames per second. Installed in a free PCIe slot, the system registers it as four independent capture cards that can be operated separately through the Blackmagic Desktop Video SDK for macOS, Windows and Linux.
Applications can capture different video formats at the same time, which suits live streaming, control room applications and playout servers. Different applications such as vMix, Wirecast and OBS can also be combined independently. vMix users can capture the outputs of two cameras, a computer and a game console at the same time and switch them in real time, including live streaming. The card takes a single slot, so it also suits compact servers in control rooms, broadcast trucks and data centers.
The HDMI 2.0b inputs support 8 or 10-bit YUV and 8, 10 or 12-bit RGB video up to 4K DCI 30p, 8-bit YUV 4:2:0 in Ultra HD and 4K DCI 50p and 60p, and computer and console outputs in 8-bit RGB up to 2560 × 1600. That makes it possible to capture sources from cameras to computers at the same time.
