One SDI input, one HDMI input

The card has a 6G-SDI input on a BNC connector and an HDMI 2.0a type A input; the inputs detect the source format automatically. It takes up to 16 channels of embedded audio from SDI and 8 channels from HDMI. The HDMI input cannot capture copy protected content.

Ultra HD and HDR

The inputs switch automatically between SD, HD, 2K and Ultra HD up to 2160p30 and also handle 4K DCI up to 25p. The card accepts static HDR metadata with HLG and PQ characteristics, 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p60 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats; the software can convert SD to HD and HD to SD during capture.

The DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K PCIe capture card offers the same features as the HD model plus support for Ultra HD up to 2160p30 and HDR video. The low profile PCI Express 2.0 x4 card features 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a connections.

Thanks to 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a it supports high quality 10-bit YUV and 12-bit RGB video, Rec. 2020 and HDR formats including HDR metadata. It is fully compatible with the Blackmagic Desktop Video SDK, making it suitable for users and developers of video applications and systems.

The DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K captures high quality video from SDI and HDMI sources such as decks and cameras. Thanks to its low profile design it can be installed in regular workstations as well as miniature computers used in outside broadcast trucks and control rooms.

It works with uncompressed and compressed video and common formats including QuickTime and DPX. It is compatible with professional applications for editing, color correction and graphics such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Media Composer and Photoshop.

Full-height and low profile mounting brackets are included for standard and low profile computers and rack servers.
