The Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Monitor HD is a PCI Express output card for playback and professional monitoring of video from a computer via 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0. It handles SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 and 2K DCI up to 2Kp60 including HDR, works with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, and thanks to two brackets it fits both standard and low profile computers.
The card sends the picture from editing or grading software to a professional SDI monitor, a television or a projector with HDMI – in the true format and frame rate, independent of the computer’s graphics card.

The picture reaches the monitor pixel for pixel in its true format, with a reliable frame rate, the correct color space and embedded audio – exactly as the viewer will see it.
Monitoring from DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and Media Composer.
HDR metadata with HLG and PQ characteristics via SDI and HDMI.
The HDMI output configures itself to the connected television or projector.
Free Desktop Video SDK for macOS, Windows and Linux.
The card has a 3G-SDI output on a BNC connector and an HDMI 2.0 type A output, so it feeds a professional SDI monitor and a television at once. It embeds up to 16 audio channels in SDI and 8 channels in HDMI, always at 48 kHz and 24 bits.

The output covers SD and HD up to 1080p60 including 1080PsF, and via SDI also 2K DCI up to 2Kp60. It works with 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p30 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats, with Rec. 601, 709 and 2020 color spaces, and carries HDR metadata with HLG and PQ characteristics.
The card is 92 mm long and besides the fitted full-height bracket the box includes a low profile bracket, so it fits a standard workstation, a compact computer or a rack server. The PCI Express x1 generation 2 interface works in x1, x4, x8 and x16 slots.

Desktop Video software includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for macOS and Windows, and Media Express, Desktop Video Utility and the driver for Linux. The card works with DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Composer, Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo and Photoshop, and plays real time effects in Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and Media Composer.

The bracket carries the HDMI type A output with the 3G-SDI output on a BNC connector below it.
